Marketing that doesn’t need you to be a marketer

Your month, already written.

A month of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube and Google posts, written for your business. You approve them, and PostMinder posts them for you on the day and at the time you choose. It writes your Facebook and Instagram adverts too. Give us your website, or answer ten questions if you have not got one, and we will work out what to say, when to say it, and write the lot.

No card · Cancel any time · Nothing posts without your OK

A free month first, then plans from £17.99 a month.

Nothing in your posts is invented. No prices, qualifications, guarantees or statistics we were not given. If your website does not say it, it does not appear under your name.

Marketing is the job that never gets urgent

It is the work that grows the business and never has a deadline, so it loses to the work that does. Most people running a small business recognise at least one of these.

  • You post for a fortnight, get busy, and the page goes quiet for three months.
  • You sit down to write something and cannot think of a single thing to say.
  • You manage Facebook, more or less, and never touch the rest.
  • You know the photographs on your phone are worth showing, and they stay on your phone.
  • An agency quoted you a monthly figure that made no sense for a business your size.

None of that is a discipline problem. It is a standing start: every post begins with an empty box and a decision about what to say. Take the standing start away and the rest looks after itself.

The pictures are the part you have already done. Nobody ever told you which one goes with what words.

If marketing is nobody’s actual job

It does not matter how many of you there are. What matters is whether anybody has the time to plan a month of posts, and usually nobody does.

Sole traders

One person, one van, no marketing department and no evenings spare. You are the reason this exists.

Small businesses

A few staff, and marketing is something somebody does when there is time, which there never is.

Medium businesses

Enough going on that marketing matters, and not enough that it is anybody’s actual job. It sits with whoever has the least on.

Agencies and anyone posting for clients

Up to 3 businesses on one Pro login, each with its own profile, voice, channels and calendar. Nothing is shared between them.

Three steps to your first month

Most of the work happens before you type anything.

  1. Your website, or ten questions

Paste your address and we read the site the way a new customer would. No website? Ten questions do the same job: six about your business, then four about your work that stop a month of posts repeating itself. Plenty of good businesses have no website, and most tools of this kind cannot start without one.

  2. Check your business profile

You get an editable summary of your business. Fix anything we got wrong. Everything we write afterwards comes from it.

  3. Get a month of marketing

A 30-day plan across the channels you use, with every post written, dated and waiting for your approval. A month is how it is planned, not how far ahead you can go: start one whenever you like, and plan the next before this one is out.

Would you rather read it?

The same ten steps written out, with a picture of every screen and the detail the video moves past. No account needed.

It writes your adverts, not just your posts

When you want to pay to reach more people nearby, it writes the Facebook and Instagram advert as well, ready to copy into Meta’s own advert tool.

  • Written to Facebook and Instagram’s own lengths: the words above the picture, the headline, the line under it, and which button to pick.
  • More than one version of the words and the headline, so Ads Manager can try them against each other.
  • For one picture, several pictures in a row, or a video.
  • Written from your website like everything else, so it never invents an offer, a price or a guarantee.

You run it yourself in Meta Ads Manager. We never place adverts, spend any money or touch your ad account. On the Business plan and above, not in the free month.

Get Quote
An example advert for a fictional plumbing firm, laid out roughly as Facebook shows one. Every line fits Facebook’s recommended lengths (125, 40 and 30 characters).

An assistant, not a text box

The difference between a tool that waits to be told what to do and one that turns up with a plan.

It decides, you approve

No blank box asking what you would like to write. You get a plan with reasons behind it, and the final say on all of it.

It tells you which photo to take

Every post comes with one line saying what to photograph, because a photo of the job you did is always the best picture. No photo for a post? On a paid plan, PostMinder can make an AI image for it instead. Never a stock picture of somebody else’s work.

Video, not just photographs

On Business and Pro, a post can carry a video you filmed instead of a photograph. We never make videos. Real footage of the job, or none at all.

Written for each channel

A LinkedIn post reads like LinkedIn. A Google Business post is short and local. Nothing is copied and pasted between them.

It will not make things up

No invented prices, awards, guarantees or statistics. If we were not told it, it does not appear in your posts.

It spots what you are missing

A service you never promote. An area you cover but never mention. A question customers ask that you have never answered.

Your month, at your times

See it all at a glance and drag a post to another day. You choose the time of day your posts go out, and any single one can go at a different time.

Edit anything, or write your own

Rewrite it yourself, or ask for shorter, warmer, more persuasive. Your changes are kept. Something to say that is not in the plan? Start an empty post and write it yourself: every plan includes as many of those as pieces we write, 10 a month on Starter.

Adverts, not just posts

Facebook and Instagram advert copy written to their lengths: primary text, headline, description and which button to choose, as a single image, a carousel or a video. You paste it into Ads Manager yourself. We never place adverts, spend any money or touch your ad account. Business plan and above.

“Will it sound like me?”
It is written from your own website, in the voice it finds there, and you can change any of it before it goes anywhere.
“Do I need to know anything about marketing?”
No. That is the entire point. You answer questions about your business, which you already know the answers to.
“What if I do not like it?”
Rewrite it, ask for shorter or warmer, or throw the piece out. Nothing is published until you say so.

Why your boiler keeps losing pressure

Take this photo

A close-up of the boiler pressure gauge, needle sitting low, taken on a phone.

Every post arrives with a shot worth taking. Upload your own photograph and it sits here instead.

If you are topping the boiler up every few weeks, that is not maintenance. That is a leak, and it is usually somewhere you cannot see. Pressure drops for three common reasons: a weeping radiator valve, a failed expansion vessel, or a pinhole in pipework under the floor. None of them fix themselves, and the last one gets more expensive the longer it runs. The quick test at home: top it up, note the pressure, and check again in four days. If it has fallen again, book someone before it takes a ceiling with it. Losing pressure more than once a month? Send us a photo of the gauge and we will tell you what we think it is.

It is ready on its day. You do not have to be.

Approve a piece and choose its day and time. Press “Post it for me” and it goes out then, without you. At the edges where a network will never let software post at all, it is one tap and a paste.

  1. You read it and approve it

Nothing leaves without your say-so. This is the one step that stays yours, and it is the only one.

  2. It is ready at the time you chose

You pick the hour that suits your customers, once, and every piece follows it. Posting it for you already works for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and Google Business Profile. X posts for you too on every paid plan. A post with a link posts itself on Pro, up to 30 a month. Beyond that, and on other plans, it is one tap to send. Every piece is written, dated and waiting on its day, whether or not you are at a desk, or remembering, or back from a job. And you always know what happened: each post that goes out is marked as posted, with a link to it wherever the network gives us one, and if a network turns one down, we email you and the post waits for you.

  3. The rest take one tap

Where a network will not let software post for you, the caption and image are on your clipboard and we open the right place to put them.

What happens on each channel

Facebook

Straight to your page.

Instagram

To a business or creator account, a video as a Reel. Tick one box and it goes to your Story too. A personal account is not something any API will accept.

LinkedIn

To your own profile, with your photographs, or a video on Business and Pro. A company page needs a separate permission from LinkedIn, which takes longer to get.

Google Business

Published straight to your Google Business Profile, where local customers see it, with a photograph, or a short video on Business and Pro. Your profile needs to be verified on Google.

X

Written to fit 280 characters, and posted for you on every paid plan. A post with a link is posted for you on Pro, up to 30 a month. On other plans, it opens in X ready to send in one tap.

TikTok

A short vertical clip or a set of photos, with a brief telling you what to film or take and the words to go under it. We post photos for you on every plan, the free trial included. On Business and Pro we post the clip too; on the free trial and Starter you post a clip from your phone.

YouTube

The same clip as a Short, or a longer video filmed sideways, with a title written the way somebody would actually search for it. On Business and Pro, add it and we post it for you. On the free trial and Starter you post it from your phone.

Blog articles are deliberately never published for you. They go on your own website, where the address and the tags have to match how your site is set up, and guessing at that is how a page ends up live at the wrong URL. You get a publishing pack instead: headline, meta title, meta description, slug, the full heading structure and the FAQs, each with its own copy button.

It tells you what you are missing

Not keyword reports. Specific gaps in what you have actually published, with the reasoning shown so you can disagree.

High impact

You cover Didsbury but have never posted about it

Didsbury is listed on your website as an area you serve, and it is the only one with nothing written about it.

Worth doing

Nobody has answered "how often should a boiler be serviced?"

It is the sort of question that stops someone getting in touch, and you have the answer.

We do not quote search volumes or rankings, because we do not have that data. Everything above comes from your own website and what you have already published.

The actual screens, not a mockup

Captured from a working account. It is the same fictional plumbing firm as the examples above, so nothing here is a real business used without asking.

The things people ask

Do I need to know anything about marketing?

No. You give us your website address and check that what we learned about your business is right. Everything after that is decided for you, and you approve what goes out.

Will it invent things about my business?

It is built not to. The AI only uses facts from your website, or the answers you gave us instead, and the profile built from them. It is instructed never to invent prices, services, qualifications, awards, statistics or guarantees. If it does not know something, it writes around it. You still get the final read before anything is published.

Can I choose what time my posts go out?

Yes. You pick the time of day once, when you set up and any time afterwards in Settings, and everything follows it. If one post suits a different hour, you can give that one its own time without changing the rest. Setup starts you on 19:00 and says so beside it, because you know when your customers are looking at their phones better than we do. Change it there, or later.

Does it post to my accounts for me?

Yes, on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and Google Business Profile: connect the account in Settings, approve a piece, choose "Post it for me", and it goes out on the day without you. X posts for you too on every paid plan. A post with a link posts itself on Pro, up to 30 a month. Beyond that, and on other plans, it is one tap to send. Some exceptions are permanent and worth knowing: a personal Instagram account cannot be posted to by any software, a Story goes up only when you choose that on a post, and blog articles are never published for you on purpose, because they go on your own website where the address and the tags have to match how your site is built.

Does it post to Threads or Pinterest?

Not yet. They are the next channels we plan to add. We will tell you when each one is ready, and nothing about your plan changes in the meantime.

Can I post videos, or only photos?

Both. Every post comes with a line saying what to take for it, so you know which photo or clip goes with the words. On the free trial and Starter, posts carry your own photos, and we post TikTok photo posts for you too. A TikTok or YouTube clip you film and post from your phone. On Business and Pro you can add a video you filmed to a post and we can post it for you: to Instagram as a reel, to your Facebook page, to LinkedIn, to TikTok, to YouTube as a Short, to X, and to your Google Business Profile. Each post is your photos or one video, not both together, except on Instagram, where they can go in one post. Your own photos come first. When a post has none, paid plans can make an AI image for it. We never make videos for you.

What if I do not have a website?

That is fine, and plenty of good businesses do not have one. Instead of reading a site we ask ten questions. The first six are about your business, because everything we write afterwards comes from them. The other four are about your work: what customers ask you most, what people get wrong, a job you were pleased with, and when you are busiest. Those four are the ones that stop a month of posts repeating itself, so all ten are needed. The one exception is the recent job: a business that opened last week has not got one, and there is a box to say so rather than make something up. If you get a website later you can add it in settings and we will read it then.

What if my website is quite thin?

We will get less from it, and we will tell you so rather than filling in the blanks ourselves. You can add your services, areas and key facts by hand, and what we write improves straight away.

What counts towards my monthly allowance?

Writing a piece for the first time. Planning your month is free, asking for ideas is free, and the first two rewrites of any piece are free. After that a rewrite counts as a piece. Posts you write yourself do not use it: they have their own monthly limit, the same number as your pieces, so 10 on Starter and 30 on Business.

Can I use this outside the UK?

Yes, anywhere except the EU and the EEA, where it is not available yet. It reads your website, writes in the same English your site already uses, and schedules on the days and at the hour you choose, in your own timezone. Prices are shown in pounds, so a card issued elsewhere converts at your bank’s rate, and some banks add a fee for that.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time. Settings, then Account, then Manage under your plan. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and everything you have made stays yours after that.

Can I get my money back?

If you are buying as a consumer, you can cancel within 14 days of your first payment and get your money back, on a monthly or a yearly plan. Email support@postminder.co.uk and we refund it within 14 days. After that we do not refund part of a month or year, and your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for. AI image packs are the exception: your images are added straight away, so packs cannot be refunded, including within 14 days.
